Tower Security, from Russian Federation, winner of the BID Century International Quality ERA Award in Geneva 2012

Geneva hosted the Century International Quality ERA Award to reward highly-qualified professionals currently involved in big projects, whose decisions affect millions of people around the world and whose work meets the criteria of the ISO 9000 and the QC100 TQM model. All of them were present at the 2012 BID Quality Award.

Alexander Nasonov of Tower Security, a leading company in its sector and in Russian Federation, proudly accepted the BID Century International Quality ERA Award at the International Quality convention in Geneva. This magnificent Swiss city was the perfect setting for the meeting of those companies and their leaders who are dedicated to quality and innovation; two key requirements for receiving the Business Initiative Directions Quality Award. The best representatives from 49 countries gathered in Geneva, the second largest city in Switzerland, a global city, financial center and the worldwide headquarters for diplomacy thanks to numerous international organizations including the Red Cross and the United Nations. Geneva is home to over a million people, and is ranked as having the third-highest quality of life of any city in the world.
Tower Security won the Century International Quality ERA Award in Geneva in the presence of business leaders and representatives from 49 countries. At the Century International Quality ERA Award, Alexander Nasonov, General Director of Tower Security proudly received the distinction symbolizing quality and innovation from the President and C.E.O. of Business Initiative Directions, Jose E. Prieto.
 
Another BID award winner in Geneva was ICICI Bank, India’s second largest bank with total assets of US$91 billion in 2011. With over 2,585 branches and 8,003 ATMs in India, ICICI Bank has a presence in 19 countries including subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Russia and Canada, and branches in United States, Singapore, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Qatar and Dubai International Finance Centre as well as representative offices in United Arab Emirates, China, South Africa, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

TradeNet is the Middle East leading provider of equity trading systems that are used by more than 45 brokerage firms and banks across the Middle East. The company operates in 7 Arab Stock Markets across 5 countries and has more than 200,000 on-line investors. Along with the President of Business Initiative Directions, Jose E. Prieto, international delegates shared those quality practices that put them ahead of the competition in their countries and sectors. Recognition was expressed for quality achieved through management, teamwork and attention to the communities where these companies operate.

Sahara India Pariwar from India. Sahara India Pariwar has 11 million workers and is the largest employer in the world. The group operates in the financial, real estate, media and information technology. The Hotel Sahara Star belongs to Sahara India Pariwar, it is Located in Mumbai and is provided with 223 rooms, 13 suites, spa, gym, a tropical lagoon and 9 restaurants.

Saomil S.A. (VTV), from Uruguay. VTV is an Uruguayan television signal that broadcasts 24 hours a day all week. Its contents include a diverse range of programs of general interest, entertainment, culture, politics, journalism and major sports events.

SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, Ltd, from Georgia. This company established by SOCAR Energy Georgia, Ltd. in 2006 has imported about 1,494,000 tons of oil products since 2006. There are over 1000 employees working at the firm and as it is a fast growing company, the number is expected to increase in the future. SOCAR Energy Georgia has invested $400 million in Georgian economy and has been the biggest taxpayer three times in a row.

Telecom Cambodia. This state corporation, is the main telecom service provider of the country. Established by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry Economy and Finance, with an initial capital of US$70 million of which US$30 million were funded by Japan.

Saimaa Beverages is one of the biggest beverage companies in Finland with the most modern facilities and a production capacity of 10,000 bottles per hour. Saimaa Beverages follows organic principles during the whole production process. The quality of its vodka is marked by finish attention to natural and unique ingredients and quality standards.
 
Among these winners from around the world was Tower Security, from Russian Federation. Union of Security Structures "Tower" Security Company was established 1996 and in just a few years it has become a reference in the security sector in Russia, as it has been awarded with the most representative International Awards including "The Best Company of the Year 2010" of its country.
 
Another company on the list of winners in Geneva was Prodiáman Oil Services Limited  is a diversified Angolan corporation formed by Angolan nationals with extensive experience in the government representative process. This company is involved in the design and service of control panels and systems that monitor and control the production of oil and gas. Prodiaman through its investment in Prodoil Sarl created Paragon Angola with AMEC Paragon, Inc., a leading international engineering consulting company and an affiliate of AMEC plc., an international project management and services company working in over 40 countries. 
 
Istambul Denizcilik Gemi Insa Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S., from Turkey. Part of SNR Holding, this is the Turkish Shipbuilding Industry’s leading company. Istanbul Shipyard is one of the major manufacturers of naval ships and off-shore vessels. Coupling with the Holding’s other subsidiaries like YILDIRIM Shipyard and ABS Metal Factory, the annual steel processing capacity is 13.200 tons with 5 slipways.
 
The companies honored in Geneva were recognized not only for their entrepreneurial achievements, but also for their dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, abiding by the principles of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model.
